About Allison

Allison’s passion for counselling stems from her desire to listen and help those struggling with the tasks of life, complexities of human relationships and challenging life experiences. Allison believes that therapeutic relationships can guide these struggles toward positive change when they are based in trust, unconditional acceptance and empathy. Allison’s therapeutic goals include supporting clients to identify their needs through exploration of past and present experiences, and to enable individuals and couples to move forward in life toward growth and change.

Allison grew up on Vancouver’s North Shore and was drawn to the beauty of the Sea to Sky Corridor where she lives with her family in Squamish. Allison has Bachelor degrees in Arts (SFU) and Social Work (UVIC), and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology (CAAP).
